Design, optimize and direct downstream development and scale-up manufacturing for the purification and chemical conjugation of antibodies and other proteins
Design and validate process controls to ensure products are of high quality
Develop analytical methods to monitor and characterize target products and contaminants
Develop chemical conjugation protocols and processes to chemically modify proteins
Coordinate efforts between R&D, QC, Manufacturing and other groups to meet goals and timelines
MS or PhD in BioEngineering or related field plus 3+ years industry experience working with antibody and/or protein manufacturing
Experience in downstream processing, large scale production and chemical modification of proteins and antibodies
Experience with analytical methods including HPLC, SDS-PAGE, Westerns, endotoxin testing, protein quantification, etc.
Familiarity with ISO 13485 and cGMP regulations
Solid presentation skills; capable of delivering technical summaries to support strategic decisions
Ability to work well in team
